Do Your Market Research

Before you do any work on a digital product, you should always take the time to research your market. This can reveal vital selling information that you may have otherwise overlooked.

You don’t want to wait until the night before the launch to signup affiliates. They’ll be too busy with other promotions and won’t be able to help you.

Instead, recruit affiliates 6-8 weeks before you’re ready to launch. You’ll be more likely to get interest and affiliates will have plenty of time to schedule promotional content about your product.

Offer a Launch Discount

Even established marketers and business owners offer launch discounts. If you’re not familiar with the practice, it’s when a product creator launches their latest product and reduces the price for a short amount of time (usually a few days or hours).

The advantage of this is that it creates urgency for the potential customers who see your sale. They don’t want to miss out on the deal so they buy your product right away, especially if it’s a low-ticket item.

You don’t have to offer a discount with your launch; but, it can really boost your sales. If you receive a lot of sales in a short period and you’re using a third-party platform to sell your products, you may end up featured on the leaderboards, which encourages even more sales.

There are no guarantees when it comes to info product creation. However, if you prepare for your launch in advance, you’re more likely to see a profitable return on your investment.
